1 1/2 oz Tanqueray Ten Gin
1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
2 tsp Granulated sugar
1 oz clear apple juice
1 quarter Granny Smith Apple (diced)
1 3 inches-piece of celery (chopped)
Muddle the celery and apple with the lemon juice and sugar. Add the Gin, apple juice and give it a little stir to mix the flavours well before adding the ice.
Add ice and shake vigorously. Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Rub a piece of celery on the edge of the glass to emphasize the aroma
Garnish with a celery leaf, floating on top or on the inside edge of the glass.
